I painted this model for the Mindworks BROM kickstarter campaign. I tried to be as faithful as possible to the original painting by Gerald Brom. In the end I my wife and I liked the result so much that we have decided to keep the figure in our personal collection.

Gallery of “Bust of Conan” is added to the pop culture galleries

Conan the Barbarian featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger was a formative film for me. Here was the fantasy genre taken seriously with characters who felt real and themes that spoke to human nature. This bust sculpted by Raul Garcia Latore captured Conan perfectly so I had to bring him alive with my paint as a tribute to this character and film.

I’ve uploaded a new gallery featuring my work “Going Home”. This work depicts a wounded US soldier from the Vietnam war. With my work I seek to be both evocative and technically excellent. “The Prison of Medusa” Gallery is live

The gallery of my piece “The Prison of Medusa” has been added to the Fine Art Miniatures Gallery. The original sculpture by Mindworks Studio was modified with the face being resculpted to give a different expression. The diorama was produced by hand. The painting of this diorama was inspired by the artwork “Egyptian Queen” by Frank Frazetta. Winner of Best Diorama at Las Vegas Open 2024.

Last weekend I taught my class again lessons of the Fantasy Art Master: Frank Frazetta. This time the format was a weekend 1 on 1 experience in my studio with the talented @scherdy

We had blast painting this beautiful figure from @mindwork.studio for the second time based off another piece of artwork from the legend Frazetta. Some pictures of my student's work from this year's Master Class at LVO. The topic of the class was "Lesson's of the Fantasy Art Masters: Frank Frazetta".

We had a wide variety of skill levels for the class, but each student was able to achieve their goals and create wonderful effects with color schemes based on the incredible work of Frank Frazetta. Follow the student's work on thier profiles: @adam.paints @hecatinaminiaturepainting
